It's still a religious symbol for a religion which says women should dress modestly (Christianity). I found it ironic that you're half naked and far from being modestly dressed while wearing the symbol a religion that says women who don't dress modestly (as seen in the photo) are "sinning". Basically, the picture is pure hypocrisy which is hilarious. I love seeing little contradictions like this. Also, I will once again note that rosaries are not necklaces. A rosary is a string of prayer beads that Catholics intertwine between their fingers while praying. It would be considered strongly disrespectful and a misuse to wear a rosary as a necklace especially while modeling half naked. I'm not even Christian and I know this. Basically, you're insulting Catholics in your photo.
I'm interested how you are 'not even Christian', yet you feel you can speak on behalf of all followers of a specific branch of that religion, by saying this is insulting
Religion is a constant in an ever changing world - but faith reacts to change remarkably. In fact Islam (a faith that is often regarded as being restrictive) dress is being transformed by events such as Dubai fashion week. Our concepts and ideals adapt to our surroundings. This is the beauty of faith.
But to outright call such a lovely image insulting, on behalf of a creed you do not support, I find rather bold.
No one is going to like DD's 100% of the time, but if you have an issue with the images I select, please feel free to inform me directly, rather than challenge an artist - as I'm sure you can appreciate, we are all entitled to our own artistic interpretation and expression.
I was going to put it in one comment, but my computer decided to go full retard and prematurely enter my comments without letting me edit in more. I just think it's pretty funny that everything, no matter what it is, is suddenly a major insult to the artist. Perhaps, I was pointing out that wearing a Rosary necklace half naked is hypocritical and you aren't a very rule abiding Catholic if you can't see this. It's still an insult to Catholics.
In the bible it says that God and all of his words are unchanging. UNCHANGING! Christianity does not change because it follows the same book as it always has. If you actually read it you'd know that women are supposed to dress modestly at all times. She is wearing a cross and not dressing modestly. Wearing a rosary as a necklace is a HUGE insult to Catholics and an absolute no-no for them. I wasn't aware it was insulting to tell someone facts about what they're wearing. Misusing a rosary is highly insulting to Catholics and wearing a cross in an un-modest outfit is a sin. Since she wears a cross, she is most likely Christian.
